About Us

About Us

Markaz Mu’aadh bin Jabal was established in October 2001 in Slough, UK as a centre calling to the authentic teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (salAllahu ‘alaiyhi wasalam) as understood by his noble Companions (may Allāh be pleased with them all).

Our primary aim is to invite the people to the religion of Tawheed (pure monotheism – worship of the One True Deity), upon the understanding of the Companions of Allah’s Messenger, Muhammad (salAllahu ‘alaiyhi wasalam).

In addition, we aim:

To educate Muslims and non-Muslims alike, to foster a better understanding amongst our local community.

To provide a centre for community outreach programs.

To provide a support service to the most vulnerable in our communities.

A source of education for the youth, away from the ills of society.

Madrassah

It is the responsibility of every parent to ensure that their children are raised upon the correct Islamic teachings. The success of this Ummah relies upon its followers and as our children are the future carriers of this noble Religion it is incumbent upon us to take care in educating and caring for them.

Here at Markaz Mu’aadh bin Jabal we strive to teach the children the Arabic alphabet and the pronunciation of its letters, teaching them the rules of Tajweed, and how to read the Qur’ān correctly and memorisation of it.

Also teaching them the elementary affairs of the religion that will instil in their hearts a strong belief enabling them to distinguish between right and wrong, rectify their character and mannerisms leading them to be upright and righteous members of society.

The hope is that by providing children the foundations upon which they build their Islamic knowledge the benefits will be reaped by not only the child, but society as a whole.
