From the classic works Of Shaykh – ul – Islam Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhaab. This is another excellent work clarifying the fundamental of Tawheed and the reality of its opposite – Shirk.
The unique method of this book is that it defeats the arguments of the people of Shirk and Innovations by laying down the foundations in defining Tawheed, Shirk, worship, intercession and other basic principles in the form of questions. Other fundamental questions include: What was the Call of the Prophets and Messengers? What was it that the polytheists actually opposed the Prophet in?
Chapter by chapter, the Shaykh demonstrates how the Qur’an and Sunnah answers the doubts of the innovators of today who have fallen in to shirk, just like it refuted their likes when the revelation was actually sent. In addition, it defeats the arguments that the Muwahhid is accused of, for example – “you reject the intercession of the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam”. Ahlus-Sunnah reply with the Hadeeth of Shifaa’ for the muwahhid on Judgement Day, showing how the people of innovation take text out of context and apply it to justify their false invented principles.
