All the praise is due to Allaah, who
sent His Messenger Muhammad (salAllahu alayhi wasalam)
with the guidance and the religion of Truth, and may Allaah’s
peace and blessings be upon Muhammad (salAllahu alayhi
wasalam), his family, his companions and those who follow
them till the Last Day. To proceed: |

Introduction |
|
| |
Markaz Mu’aadh bin Jabal was
set up in October 2001 in the town of Slough (South East
England) with the intention of establishing an Islamic
da’wah centre and a masjid upon ikhlaas and sunnah.
The primary goal of the markaz was (and still is) to call
people to the religion of tawheed, upon the understanding
of the Companions of Allah’s Messenger (salAllahu
alaiyhi wasalam), educating the local community as well
as building wider community relationships. |

Future Aspirations |
|
| |
- Currently 100+ people attending
Jumu’ah prayers each week, and due to shortage
of space we have closed off women’s section
for the Friday prayers only. We would like to accommodate
both men and women for the Friday prayers, but to
do that we require larger premises.
- We would like to expand the library,
but this is currently restricted due to space.
- Eid prayers are attended by 150
– 180 people every year. At times when the Eid
prayer is held in doors (due to bad weather) we are
unable to comfortably accommodate all the people under
one roof due to shortage of space. Again, to change
this we require larger premises.
- Our Islamic school is in dire need of expansion
as we have many students currently on a waiting list.
We would like to expand this facility to double the
number of students insha’Allah (currently we
have approx 100 boys and 30 girls).
- We would like to hire a full-time imam and a care
taker for the masjid insha’Allah.
- We have recently hired additional teachers for our
Fahm Us Salaf School but we are always in need of
more, especially female teachers.
- We have taken the initial steps in setting up a
nursery for young children which we hope will go on
to become a reception and then a primary school in
the years to follow insha’Allah.
