A brief reply to the lie and slander of Yasser Qadhi

Yasser Qadhi said regarding Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad AbdulWahhab rahimahullah,  “This is the level of fanaticism  and the Takfeer is a level of neo Kharijizm that I simply cannot tolerate, to consider the entire Ummah to be Kaafir and Mushrik other than yourself is not mainstream Islam.”

Since when did Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad AbdulWahhab rahimahullah consider the entire Ummah to be Kaafir and Mushrik?! Authobillah min alkadb.

 Indeed, Allah said:

{ إنما يفترى الكذب الذين لا يؤمنون بآيات الله } الآية

Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad AbdulWahhab rahimahullah clearly said:

لا أكفّر أحداً من المسلمين بذنب، ولا أخرجه من دائرة الإسلام.

“I do not make Takfeer of anyone from the Muslims due to a sin nor do I take him out of the fold of Islam.”

Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad AbdulWahhab rahimahullah responded to claims that he makes Takfeer of the one who swears by other than Allah that this is a slander and a great lie:

يقال …إني أكّفر من حلف بغير الله… جوابي عن هذه المسائل، أن أقول:

            سبحانك هذا بهتان عظيم!

“Glory be to Allah the Most Perfect indeed this is a great lie” (Nur:16)

Rather, Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad AbdulWahhab rahimahullah distinguishes between the act of Kufr and the person that commits Kufr that he would not make Takfeer of them specifically without first establishing the proof against them.

Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad AbdulWahhab rahimahullah refuted these many allegations in his lifetime when he said, “as for the statement that I make Takfeer of masses then that is from the slanders of the enemies those who obstruct this Deen and we say,

             سبحانك هذا بهتان عظيم!

“Glory be to Allah the Most Perfect indeed this is a great lie” (Nur:16)

Likewise, Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad AbdulWahhab rahimahullah mentioned about those that go to the graves for worship due to ignorance and that he does not make Takfeer of them specifically “so how then can I make takfeer towards those that do not even commit shirk?!”
